With an eye for character, theme and structure, Brad Marshland consults for individual writers as well as for production companies. Brad has taught at Wellesley College, Feature Workshops, and U.C. Berkeley.  Brad Marshland offers in-depth, detailed analysis on both scripts and prose. Original Work
Brad Marshland has sold screenplays in Hollywood and has had stage plays produced on both coasts. Produced plays include The Ballad of Bartlett Falls, and The Question of Hu. Brad’s screenplays include Spread the Word (Schneid-Michelman Productions), Liars’ Dice (Water Brothers Productions), Lago Del Soul (Vacation Avenue Pictures), Snuff (Atomic Espresso), Boys’ Game (Peripheral Visions), and Bum Rap (optioned by Just Us Productions). Brad is also the author of the young adult fantasy novel, The Imagicators.

Brad’s non-fiction work includes Let’s Go: California (St. Martin’s Press), YourDoctor.com, FinancialCafe.com, Film Threat Weekly; and documentaries such as On the Street, a portrait of homelessness in Boston (WGBH/Boston PBS), and The Midas Curse, about a toxic spill at one of South America’s largest open-pit gold mines. Other non-fiction work includes educational videos for Lawrence Hall of Science, UC Berkeley, SEPUP (Science Education for Public Understanding), and the HyRoad Learning Center; and numerous commercial and PR pieces for clients ranging from regional non-profits to multi-billion-dollar corporations.
